HVAC Assist Pro ("we", "us", or "the Service") is an AI-powered technical support platform for HVAC and service professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy is effective as of August 2026 and applies to the web and mobile applications of HVAC Assist Pro.

Account information: Your name and email address when you register.

Conversation history: The questions and messages you send to the AI assistant and diagnostic tools, including troubleshooting threads you create.

Community content: Forum posts and replies you author, along with your display name.

Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain transaction records such as order and subscription identifiers, amount, and status.

Usage data: Basic device and usage information (such as app interactions and feature use) used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

To provide the AI troubleshooting assistant, diagnostic tools, resource library, and forum.

To create and manage your account and subscription, and to grant or revoke access based on payment status.

To send service-related emails such as welcome messages, session summaries, and account notifications.

To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

With Stripe to process subscription billing. Payment data is handled by their secure checkout in accordance with their privacy policy.

With our hosting and infrastructure providers (Base44) solely to operate the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your conversation history and account data are retained while your account is active.

You can permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time from the Account Settings screen within the app. This action cannot be undone, though certain financial records may be retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is intended for professional technicians and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their information.

You may review or update your account information in the app, manage your subscription, or delete your account as described above.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
